Maxwell will trade his shield for the (+12 Large improved iron shield) and take a Rock potion.

Rick will trade his sword for the (+5 heavy spear (short range)(Ranger) 7 dam), and take a greater healing potion.

Edit: If the gear in the supply depot is unlimited, then Maxwell will also claim a pair of +10 (Tank) boots, and +10 (Tank) leggings.
