So the topic of my debate is

Should the use of Mobile phones be banned in Schools?(Deal or No Deal)

First of All Let me start with a simple Question!!
Why students go to School?

Definitely for some learning and development. But when they are allowed to bring Mobile phones so how it is possible to focus on studies when they get attention from scrolling, massaging and likes etc. Mobile phones are biggest distraction for students.

Attention shifts and Focus Breaks
Let be honest, whenever student are studying properly and focusing on the class activities and her phone rings or sends a notification automatically students attention divert and start using mobile instead of their other activities. Attention shifts and Focus Breaks.

And I think when students allowed to use phone in class they gain less information , Score less in test and barely participate in activities. The ability of concentration destroy but the urge of constant phone checking. Then it becomes habit , if we want the Best future of students mobile phone must banned.

Some people argue that phone helps the students in learning,
So here I am going to clear you a point, yes technology helps in education but mobile phone is not the solution especially in classrooms.
Some students use their phone and texting uder the desk it also disrespect the teachers and disrupt the discipline of class.

Communication sources in Emergency
Mobile phones are useful for students in emergency but in this case every academic Staff have provided communication sources so students can inform their parents. So I think if we want safety, learning and discipline environment Mobile phones must banned.

Psychological effect
Mobile phones normally effects the psychological health and then students use Mobile phone in classrooms they definitely engaged with other students through WhatsApp, Instagram, and Snapchat like apps , these type of apps encourage inappropriate content which is not good for students.

One of the point I want to discuss that some people said that phones are for learning so I think every school provide, Computer labs , Tablets and other devices so phone is not in the support of education . They harm the students. When these type of distraction are removed students do more focus on learning, education and development and protects the student emotionally and mentally.

So I say Deal: YES !Mobile phones should be banned In Schools.
