Assalamu Alaikum friends. Wishing everyone good health. Hope you all are well. By God's grace I am fine too. Today I am here to participate in a wonderful learning competition organized by our teacher @ruthjoe. The Topic of this contest is "SLC-S24/W4 - Powerful Debate | Deal or No Deal". Our teacher has come up with a wonderful topic. From there I will choose an option and present it. So for Steemit Challenge S24W4 Should the use of mobile phones be banned in schools? I will choose this option and position it in detail from the No Deal position.

Nowadays, mobile phones are an important part of our lifestyle. In this modern era, it is impossible to live a proper life without a mobile phone. Because mobile phones are one of the technologies that have come out today. All our activities are now conducted by mobile phones. Standing in this world of technology, if we take away mobile phones from the hands of students, it will be like taking away the keys from the hands of the future. So, in today's debate, I am saying that mobile phones should not be banned in schools.

My opinion is no Deal..

We were also students once, we also went to school regularly. When I was a child, we did not have smartphones in our hands. It was very difficult for us to get information outside of books. Today's children are getting a lot of opportunities, only a mobile phone can be their main learning companion.

Let's tell a real story..

I have a brother, who is in class nine. He is very interested in studies. A few days ago, he asked me whether Newton's third law can be proven in practice?

I told him to search on YouTube, you will find many simple videos. He found an animated video in just one minute, which made his eyes light up. Seeing not only the text of the book but also the video with real examples, his idea became much clearer.

This experience made me understand that mobile is not just an entertainment device it can be a digital teacher for a student. However, it has to be applied correctly.

Many people say that if students have mobile phones, they waste time playing games on social media. Yes, that is true, but I say, the fault is not the mobile phone but the use of it. If someone wastes time reading books but only reading comics, should the books be banned? So instead of banning mobile phones, we should teach them their proper use.

So what should be done?

There needs to be a clear policy in the school. we can turn technology into a friend instead of an enemy.

01	Mobile phones should be kept silent or turned off during class.
02	Use of educational apps/websites will be allowed at specific times.
03	There will be restrictions on mobile phone use in the exam hall or in the class as per specific rules.

Now let's talk about emergency situations..

A few days ago, a school in a locality caught fire. A student immediately called the fire service using his phone. His awareness averted a major danger. If his phone had been banned? Then perhaps the damage would have been much greater.

If we are afraid of technology, we will fall behind. The challenge of the fourth industrial revolution is facing the next generation. Artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, all of these have technology at their core. School is the foundation of education, this is where they need to develop the right habits of using technology. Mobile phones should not be banned in schools, but should be used in a managed and guided manner. It is a necessary tool in the path of modernizing education.
