Am glad to participate in this week topic of which i will love to share my thoughts on how a financial burden of a home should be managed.

Do you think it is ideal for financial burden of a home to be managed by the husband alone.(Explain your answer by choosing Deal or No Deal)
In our society it is believed that a man should shoulder all the family responsibilities ranging from the house bill, light bill, water bill, hospital bills and so on, without a doubt a man is expected to be the primary financial provider for his family.
We are living in modern time where expectations are evolving which makes it more common for both partners to contribute to the family financial well-being.
It will be wise to have a good understanding of your spouse financial capabilities before involving in a relationship to avoid disappointment,
Reason
In my country Nigeria there is a certain amount of money an average worker can earn this is called the minimum wage now we are experiencing inflation those with minimum wage can barely afford 3 square meals because their income is not enough to cover the financial burden of the family.
It is important to discuss how to manage financial burden with your partner and live within your earnings capacity.
There is this couple that lived in a small town were i work everyone knows them for always involving in a fight or heated argument it might interest you to know that the reason for their conflicts was financial incompetence.
The man was unable to carry the financial burden of the family while the wife solely believed it was the man duties to shoulder all financial responsibilities of the family.
Should a financial responsibilities of the family be share equally between husband and wife?
A responsible man should be able to provide for his family as mush as within his means, a wife is also expected to help the husband in whichever way she can to reduce the weight of the financial burden, this can be done in whichever way the wife can choose either by setting their standards of living to align with the income or adding some percentage to the family finances.
As much as i do not support 50/50 financial manage from husband and wife i believe both parents and even adults children have the responsibility to provide financially in support of the family basic need if their income are sufficient,
So for me the ideal for financial burden of a home to be managed by the husband alone is a no deal
