RE: Living Debt Free is a Choice
I can relate to a lot of what you are saying here. My husband in in the middle of rebuilding a motor right now. We still have the car to get where we need to be but really need the truck running.
I think a lot about money these days, how a majority of society is enslaved by a system they are totally dependant upon.
I am kind of stubborn like you. I go to great lengths to not have to hear the told ya so's. Honestly these days I choose the company of a furbaby over human more often than not.
Sounds to me like your future is more secure than most. Having great faith in the current system seems high risk to me right now.
Yes, I agree.
I have a great plan and a beautiful property that is ideal for living sustainably.
I just have to get there!
I don't care what other people think, if they are drinking the kool-aid I'd be wasting my breath anyway!
On the homestead a Pickup comes in real handy!
I was listening to a homesteader talk about the recent news regarding salmonella and they went on a rant about farm animals being stinking nasty animals not pets.
I thought to myself I'd much rather be in the company of my critters than people like you. Lol
There are always animals in my posts because they are part of my life.
Hopefully you guys can get your truck back on the road soon.
I really appreciate you checking out my blog!
Yeah the truck is kind of a necessity for us as well. Going beyond handy. It cuts into our extra income when it is down.
That person is kind of sad. They are missing out on a whole world. Think of all the life forms around us that aren't human. I sometimes think humans can be a bit self important. Then again I am one of those fluff bunny types who make friends with all sorts of wild life. If I did have farm animals it would probably be the type that don't require being killed.
I found you through @pifc I always find such interesting people that way. I will have to see what else you are up to.
Yeah, I understand about your truck. How is it coming along?
I've been meaning to make a post about my farm animals still rolling it around in my mind but just so's you know you don't have to kill any of em 🤐😉
There are so many interesting blogs and amazing content here on Steemit my head is spinning!
I'm just a country mouse so much to learn. Lol
Thank you so much for your comments.
It is coming very slow. Probably will be a bit before it is finished as it is getting done in spare time.
Glad you aren't having to kill your animals. Any animal I encounter seems to turn into a friend. My FIL owns a beef farm. I never go see the cows. I am not vegan or anything just don't feel right making friends with someones food.
There is a lot here on Steemit. I only post about once a week but read and chat a lot. I really love the people I meet here.
