I am glad, too. Even though the “days are long but the years are short” as they say, and my transition to full-time mommy was rough, I know later I will be grateful indeed.

Raising kids on a farm is a wonderful thing! I grew up on my Grandma’s horse farm, and then married a cattle rancher, and I can’t imagine living in the city. Nothing beats the stars at night! Or eating tree-ripened fruit right off the tree. Or the smell of the freshly cut hayfield. 💕 It’s hard work, but it’s honest work. Nothing beats making a living with your hands as a farmer, craftsman, homesteader, etc.
