Investing or Gambling in Crypto…? Time will tell…

Hello Steemit, 

I wanted to provide a little more background on myself to provide more insight into my investing into the Crypto Space. 

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with a Minor in Marketing. I manage two rental locations for a Heavy Equipment Dealer but have also had the pleasure of teaching Scuba Diving in the Caribbean. My wife, of six years, is an RN/BSN at a local hospital. Currently, we have the good fortune of having good careers.  

When we got married we purchased a modest and affordable foreclosure that was move in ready but in need of a few remodeling projects. Over the years we have made improvements along the way, (future posts to follow highlighting our remodeling efforts)  

We also were really aggressive paying off our mortgage since it was our highest interest loan at 4.5%. Then we focused on paying off the remainder of our debt, two auto loans at 1.9%. We now are officially 100% Debt Free. We have been building up our saving to have an adequate emergency fund. (6-12 month worth of expenses) 

Since we have reached this goal we now have some excess capital on hand and began looking for investment options. I had researched a few financial investors in the area and still have yet to schedule an appointment to sit down with them… I think partly because at my core I enjoy going against the flow and take a lot of pride in DIY. 

After spending probably close to 2 months now researching the space we decided to “Play” with $1,000 in the Crypto space. A lot of time my wife and I feel like we are living our life too conservatively and the High Volatility in this market gets me excited. Plus there is a lot of data for my analytic mind to chew on and good YouTube channels to listen to on my drive to work. 

So at the end of the day we are only investing what we are 100% willing to loose. By no means are or will any of my posts be financial advice. I just want to provide a very detailed description of my journey into this market and help others learn it too.
