I dont know anything about the politics of nicaragua, but there is a growing trend of crushing the opposition. Our state (Jamamu and Kashmir) enjoyed special status in the indian constitution but the current govt. sliced our state into 2 union territories after throwing all its elected representative into jail. Wr remained without internet and cellular network for months altogather.
More than 2 years after robbing us off our rights, strong rumours aee simmering that there will be further downgrading of the only muslim majority state now Union Terrotery of J&K.
