Created in 2006 by architect @adjaye_visual_sketchbook, artist @lornasimpson’s stunning four-story studio in Brooklyn comprises offices and gallery spaces, and a Zen-inspired rear garden. Simpson says that one of the things she admires most about the building is its contemplative atmosphere. “It is amazing to be able to take time, in a studio like this, to imagine what it is I want to do next,” says the artist, who continues to expand her explorations into painting.
