"SLC-S25/W6 | Any Fruit Dessert"
Greetings teachers and students!
Am so delight to participate in this last week of the dessert challenge it was weeks of learning and corrections exploring the world of dessert and am happy to know and learn about dessert and types and preparation methods, my special thank goes to steemit team and and wonderful teacher @m.fdo for teaching with patience and corrections with love and so mush appreciation,
So here is my practical post for week 6
1 . Make the given recipe in detail with step by step pictures. Include your name tag with the date at the final presentation of the recipe. ✅(6 Mark )✅
Ingredients:
• water melon 100grm
• sugar 2 table spoon
• 1 tablespoon gelatin
• biscuits 100grm
• curd 250grm
• melted butter
• lime juice
• colour gelly
Step1
I blended the biscuits to a powder form then poured in the melted butter into the biscuits continue blending till is mixed properly then turned it into a bowl.
Step2
I blended 50gram of water melon and strain out the juice then i pour the curd in the blender added the melon juice blend for 10 seconds then proceed in adding my melted gelatin and sugar then continue blending for another 40 seconds.
Step3
After i was done with it i poured it into the bowl i had previously layered my blended mixture of biscuits and butter making it the second layer.
Step4
I then diced the remaining water melon and carefully placed it on the second layer of the dessert then i poured in my red Jelly mixture on top of the prepared cup refrigerate it for 2 hours and my fruit dessert was ready.
2 . Which fruit dessert flavor did you choose?
I choosed red watermelon flavor for my fruit dessert
Is there a special reason for choosing that fruit dessert? ✅(1 Mark )✅
Yes i have reason for choosing water melon as my desert flavor,
• the biscuits mixture was creamy because of the melted butter that was added the the curd seems a little bit like yogurt but also creamy so i thought to myself why not use fruit that is crunchy and also hydrated then water melon was just the perfect fruit that fit in perfectly the flavor was also and additional reason also apart from Being an excellent source of hydration watermelon helps with digestion and potential weight management.

4 . What do you think about this past dessert season? Have you improved your dessert knowledge in these few weeks?
It was an amazing experience exploring the world of dessert learning how to make cream was the best part, the previous week was awesome i learned how to make biscuits pudding at the comfort of my home, i also love the honest review given by the teacher it was with so mush appreciation and respect that i always checked to see if my post has been reviewed because the corrections made me see the areas i should improve on it was my first time trying but the appreciate from the teacher made me so happy that my effort was noticeable.

Yes am satisfied with it this next time of making any dessert i will definitely work with the areas i was corrected and make sure it comes out even better.
