News worthy, I don't think so, but a lot of people may. Some of the stuff that makes headlines is just absurd. I can't even watch the news for more than five minutes before getting disgusted with what is being broadcasted. NO GOOD news ever. Their is a local news channel we get that I do like watching, WBNY.
Feel good stories about local events, local sports, and local weather, dominate the 1/2 hour. About 5 minutes is spent on world news, which is just how I like it.
I wonder why most people with more money than would ever be needed in one's life time, are more times than not, idiots.
As with all of our actions, they will follow you forever, most of the time the ones that are not cool will be the ones people talk about. You know that fire that is burning in the Rain forest in Brazil, I just heard about it also. The one thing that perplexes me is that they were offered millions of dollars to support the efforts to put the dam thing out, but Brazil's president, Jair Bolsonaro refused to accept the money from the G-7, unless the French President Marcon,apologizes to him for calling him a liar.
Now that is news worthy, a crime for letting the fire consume such a precious habitat, and a very insecure fool that should have to pay some price for being such a ratbag.
Love fireworks. M-80's are the best. Years ago I went camping and fishing with a good friend. In several pools of water in the stream we were fishing, we could see the trout, but they would not bite. Being that M80's have a waterproof fuse and casing, we decided to do a little redneck fishing. Light the M80, throw it in the pool where we saw the trout, wait for the explosion, and the fish would be totally disoriented, and float to the surface. After wading in the pools to gather up the trout, it was back to camp for a good meal.

Tv, you and me both. Pura and I don’t watch it, I can’t stand it that I’m always drawn to the same ones in the gym, makes me crazy. I can remember talking about a such thing as ‘good news’ when I was a kid. I’m glad someone went through with it.

Not believing that the president, Bolsonaro, would let the fire continue to consume the rain forest, I had to find out why.

Every Fourth of July, we put on a fireworks display that lites up the sky. With my daughter living in PA, where fireworks are legal, I place an order with her, and let the games begin. Here are a couple pics of this year's show.
