While I do agree there should be an increase in security around schools I don't believe this to be a good idea. Most folks, who have a conceal weapons permit, have never been in a gun fight. Your mind works differently when your life is on the line and or you're trying to protect someone.

For example, the cops during the Chicago Police shooting. One cop, literally pointed his weapon towards another police officer while getting around his car. He then proceeded to fire his weapon, while also trying to shoot the person in the car. This is a person who has had advanced gun training then the general public. Yet, has clearly shown his lack of understanding regarding what it means to carry a weapon.

I strongly believe in our Second Amendment. Yet, I am not blindly ignoring the truth that some should not be allowed to carry. Most folks, who are and or will carry a concealed firearm, do not understand what it means to carry a weapon.
