RE: Distinctive Doors - Hermitage - St. Petersburg, Russia
These doors are very intricate and very distinctive. They don't make doors like these anymore. The cost would be astronomical!

Like many things that aren't made anymore! Of course, if you have the money...
Another fellow Ontarian! Seems to be a few of us. My old stomping grounds was just outside of Thorndale. Don't blink while driving through, you might miss it!
We are down that way often, several friends in London, also near Bayfield, visited them about a month ago for an annual gathering of 6 old high-school buddies (and I do mean old, class of '66). Can't say we've driven through Thorndale though, either north or south of it depending on where we're headed.
Told you you would miss it! I had a friend who lived in Brighton once upon a time.
Here 15 years now, know some of the old townspeople but mostly retired folk like us. Nice area.
