IRS to issue new stimulus debit cards to select New Yorkers
US congressmen Anthony Brindisi and John Katko have said that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will offer a replacement card to taxpayers who obtained an Economic Impact Payment (EIP) debit card but did not activate it or threw it away.
Brindisi and Katko had heard from individuals and local families who suspected their debit cards were not legitimate and hence they destroyed the cards mistakenly.
