Debenhams owners 'draw up liquidation plan' that could see 14,000 lose their jobs

The owners of Debenhams have started making plans for the company to go into liquidation, it has been reported.
Bosses at the 242-year-old department store chain have appointed Hilco Capital to work with them in the event that attempts to rescue the company end in failure.
According to Sky News, sources close to the company have described Hilco's role as "contingency planning" for the future of store as it nears the pre-Christmas trading period.
