Good boy Story. Day: 661
Woof! Let me tell you about my day in the life of a happy dog!
This morning, I woke up with the sun shining through the window. My human was still asleep, so I did a little dance around the room to wake them up. When they finally opened their eyes, I wagged my tail so hard I thought I might take off! Breakfast time! My favorite part of the day. I gobbled up my kibble and made sure to give my human some big, grateful eyes.
After breakfast, we went for a walk in the park. Oh boy, oh boy! The smells were incredible! I sniffed every blade of grass and every tree we passed. I met my friend Bella, the golden retriever, and we had a grand time chasing each other around. We even played a little tug-of-war with a stick we found. I think I won, but Bella might argue otherwise!
When we got back home, I took a nice long nap in my favorite sunny spot on the floor. I dreamt of chasing squirrels and playing fetch. When I woke up, my human was working on something at their desk. I decided to help by bringing them my squeaky toy. They laughed and gave me a scratch behind the ears. That’s the best!
In the afternoon, my human took me to the backyard for some fetch. I love running after the ball! I could do it all day long. Sometimes I bring it back, and sometimes I just sit and chew on it for a bit. It’s all part of the fun!
As the sun began to set, we cuddled on the couch together. My human watched TV while I rested my head on their lap. It’s my favorite time of day, feeling cozy and loved. Before bed, I got a tasty treat for being such a good boy, and I made sure to give my human a big, happy bark of thanks.
Finally, I curled up in my bed, feeling tired but oh-so-happy. What a wonderful day it was! Woof! I can’t wait to do it all over again tomorrow!
