RE: Should this @steemhunt be classified as NSFW or not ?
Not Safe for Work, in my opinion, is intended for things that are pornographic or violent. This is a girls sex toy and if someone wants to shop for such things it's their choice as to whether they mind anyone seeing them doing it or not....it just nothing! Should we tag underwear as NSFW too? Of course not. I just think it was silly to classify it as NSFW and thus ban it from Steemhunt.......I would wonder whether if it were a female mod whether it would have been banned!
I just felt a little sad that the blockchain took yet another step backwards.
It is a pretty toy and not an obvious ugly dick imitation like a Rabbit! I was rather playing devils advocate, but the point was proven.
If I get a free sample for creating them some publicity and being an 'influencer' it's yours for Christmas lol
You have a lovely weekend :-)
I agree with you :-) There is literally nothing nsfw about your Hunt. And I would personally love if they were open to cool innovative products no matter in what category they fall.
In all fairness though: SteemHunt is not 'the blockchain', but a company/app that can write their own rules about which content they allow. It's not a 'general' condenser like Steemit/Steempeak which should be as open to all kinds of content as legally possible, an app like SteemHunt isn't necessarily bound by those same rules.
There will be apps launched on Steem that are 'nsfw free', or quite the opposite, 'porn only' (no flower pics allowed ;-)). As long as there are users for these apps they can be developed and even become successful. The fact that they are built on Steem doesn't define their rules, the company/editors do. In those case the blockchain only serves to provide rewards and immutability, but will not necessarily be used for the 'free speech' factor.
I'll DM you the address it needs to be sent to :P
Have a great weekend Nathen!
