Apple and red cabbage | Still Life | Pencil color drawing

Greetings, friends. Here I am again with the still life drawing. Created as part of the learning challenge proposed by Tezzmax. Drawn with colored pencils, on white paper (not cardboard), and in a vertical format, taller than it is wide.

The model and the result.

On the left side, I present the final piece, and on the right, the photograph that inspired it. I'm proud of the piece. I was able to work the coloring in layers and, as much as possible, achieve the dark tones that the light produces.
The apple was the best resolved. On the other hand, with the half head of cabbage, I couldn't get the perspective right when coloring, although I had the base for the oval in the sketch.

Materials and procedure
This time, I pre-selected the crayons that painted best. I decided to work on thin paper (thinking of doing a test before moving on to cardboard), placing a stronger piece of cardboard under the sheet of paper to avoid damaging the other sheets of the sketchbook with pressure.
I outlined the sketch in a 2B pencil, leaving it as light as possible. Then I began to paint, starting with the apple, the cabbage, and the background, in that order.

My Interpretation & Process
The perspective of the cabbage really became a point where I got tangled up. I kept adding lines and more lines, and in the end, the cabbage looks round, almost as if it were facing the observer and not in perspective. However, it has its charm. I decided to leave this exercise as the final piece, thinking I'll buy better crayons and a box of watercolor pans for future still lifes.

Great, my friend. I thought you were a bot 🤣😂👍
I want to make a stop-motion video of your art. I might need more footage to make it about 50 seconds long. I'd make the video and give you 60% of the proceeds from the post.
Is that okay with you?
Of course, do it.!!
👍 Thanks. Give me a week.
