Electric Eyes
I did this drawing for my friend June Sayers who is an erotica writer. She requested a drawing of an android with very distinctively cybernetic looking eyes, but an otherwise human appearance.
Progress
Step 1:
I start with a sketch to get a general feel for the facial features and expression.
Step 2:
For illustrative/painted work, I just color directly under the sketch instead of inking. I only ink for comic work in order to increase production speed. For fully painted image, I drop down flats under the sketch and do basic shading. I block out the light source and shadows. After this stage, I merge the lineart and colors and start painting on top until it looks like the final product.

Really nice, Kyt ! Her robot eyes are very nicely coloured and I love the lighting on this one :)

Awesome shading and style
The lower blue lighting really underscores the intense blue in her eyes. Nicely rendered as well!
