Deutsch im Anschluß…

Hello, Dear Dreamers!

Even when weather, economic depression, political tensions and the general mood are weighing on us, we need and want to recognise our role in the community and take responsibility from time to time. In our case, as the Dream Steem Charity Account, in the past this has meant helping to fund medical treatment where the problems have been great and the pressures even greater. The cost of vocational training has also been an issue for us. Today we want to start something different. Something long-term and permanent.

@hillaryonbless, a very talented nature photographer and helpful friend of the Fundraiser for Uganda who has been on the Steem for several years, became a father for the first time a few days ago. Once again, we would like to take this opportunity to offer our heartfelt congratulations!

Unfortunately, the birth was not without complications and delivery in hospital was unavoidable. In his country, where most people are very poor and medical care is a private matter, this means that the little one will be in debt from day one. This does not paint a good picture.

We now plan to send 50 STEEM to Hillary as immediate support. Maybe more Steemians will join in and the bill for the obstetrics can be paid quickly? Until the end of the month, he will also receive 20% Beneficiaries of every contribution from the two Community Accounts and my own one.

But it's also a fact that the little one will need nappies and food and clothes and will probably need to see a doctor again. And then there is the matter of education, which must not be lacking... The costs will not decrease, on the contrary!

I propose that we take on a kind of sponsorship for Annabelle and from now on, we will deduct 5% Beneficiaries of every post for the young lady's future. For life or as long as we blog and earn with our accounts. I hereby make a firm commitment for my private account. For the Charity Account as well, that's my ‘baby’ ;-)) As far as the Community Account is concerned: I would like to get the go-ahead from my fellow campaigners, as I don't want to make decisions over other people's heads. However, I am optimistic ;-))

@hillaryonbless will be a responsible father and spend the money, however much or little that may mean in the end, for the hopefully happy future of his little daughter.

And I would like to go one step further: there are reports of some babies on the Steem whose future can be imagined much more easily with a little support from everywhere. Are there any other Communities that would like to set up similar sponsorship projects? You can expect a bit of publicity in this direction from me in the near future ;-)) Individual initiatives are also certainly welcome and achieve a high effect with little effort.

For now, I wish Hillary and his little family a wonderful time with the newborn and a good start in life for Annabelle!

Hallo, liebe Träumer!

Auch wenn Wetter, wirtschaftliche Depression, politische Spannungen und die allgemeine Stimmung auf uns drücken, müssen und wollen wir uns ab und an unsere Rolle in der Gemeinschaft bewußt machen und Verantwortung übernehmen. In unserem Fall, als Charity Account der Dream Steem Community, bedeutete das in der Vergangenheit, bei der Finanzierung medizinischer Behandlungen zu unterstützen, wo die Probleme groß und der Druck noch größer waren. Auch Kosten für die berufliche Ausbildung waren schon ein Thema für uns. Heute wollen wir etwas anderes starten. Etwas Langfristiges und Dauerhaftes.

@hillaryonbless, seit mehreren Jahren auf dem Steem als sehr talentierter Naturfotograf und hilfsbereiter Freund der Spendenaktion für Uganda, ist vor wenigen Tagen das erste Mal Vater geworden. Dazu nochmals und auch an dieser Stelle die allerherzlichsten Glückwünsche!

Die Geburt verlief leider nicht komplikationslos und die Entbindung in der Klinik war unvermeidlich. In seinem Land, in dem die meisten Menschen sehr arm sind und die medizinische Versorgung Privatsache ist, bedeutet das: das kleine Wesen hat vom ersten Lebenstag an Schulden im Gepäck. Eine schöne Perspektive zeichnet das nicht.

Wir stellen uns nun folgendes vor: als Sofortunterstützung senden wir 50 STEEM an Hillary. Vielleicht schließen sich weitere Steemians an und die Kostenrechnung für die Geburtshilfe kann schnell beglichen werden? Bis zum Monatsende erhält er außerdem von jedem Beitrag der beiden Community Accounts und meines eigenen 20% Beneficiaries.

Fakt ist aber auch: die Kleine wird Windeln brauchen und Nahrung und Kleidung und vermutlich auch wieder einmal einen Arzt aufsuchen. Und dann ist da noch die Sache mit der Bildung, an der es nicht fehlen darf… Die Kosten werden nicht weniger, im Gegenteil!

Ich schlage vor, daß wir eine Art Patenschaft für Annabelle übernehmen und ab sofort von jedem Post 5% Beneficiaries für die Zukunft der jungen Dame abzweigen. Lebenslang bzw. solange wir mit unseren Accounts bloggen und verdienen. Für meinen privaten Account mache ich hiermit eine feste Zusage. Für den Charity Account ebenfalls, der ist mein „Baby“ ;-)) Was den Community Account betrifft: dafür hätte ich gerne das Okay meiner Mitstreiter, da ich hier nicht über andere Köpfe hinweg Entscheidungen treffen möchte. Allerdings bin ich optimistisch ;-))

@hillaryonbless wird ein verantwortungsvoller Vater sein und das Geld, wie viel oder wenig das unter‘m Strich auch bedeuten mag, für die hoffentlich glückliche Zukunft seiner kleinen Tochter ausgeben.

Und noch einen Schritt weiter würde ich gerne gehen: es wird von einigen Babies auf dem Steem berichtet, deren Zukunft sich mit ein wenig Support von überall deutlich unbeschwerter vorstellen läßt. Finden sich ggf. weitere Communities, die ähnliche Patenschaftsprojekte auf die Beine stellen? Ein bißchen Werbung in diese Richtung dürft Ihr von mir in der nächsten Zeit erwarten ;-)) Auch Einzelinitiativen sind sicher willkommen und erzielen einen hohen Effekt bei geringem Aufwand.
