The Next Time,I’ll choose Myself

The next time if I fall in love , I will love myself. Not to please anyone else, not to fill the emptiness inside me—but simply out of a sense of responsibility to myself. I will paint myself in the colors of the black peak, so that even though the world around me is empty, my insides remain colorful.

The next time I walk, I will walk cheerfully. Not holding someone's hand, not waiting for someone, but getting lost in the rhythm of my own breath, in the smell of my own soil. If I stumble on the way, I will pick myself up myself.

The next time I lose, I will lose for myself. I will not exhaust myself for someone else. After getting lost, I will find myself again—new, stronger, more mature.

Because in the end, no one can be found as your protector. People come, go, come close and move away again. In the end, the one who remains is myself. So from now on, I will protect myself. I will wipe my tears, brighten my smile, stand on my own shoulders.

Because if I can once recognize the strength that lies within me, then no loneliness can scare me anymore. Love, joy, loss—I myself am the center of everything. And so, from now on, I will learn—not to lose myself, but to find myself within myself.
