Hello Friends...
Assalamualaikum, how are you, I hope everyone is well by the grace of Allah. I am also well by the grace of Allah, Alhamdulillah. I am bringing you a new post. I hope everyone likes it.
Part- 18: First Face-to-Face Conflict
For a few days, the atmosphere at Trisha's house was not at all peaceful. Father was showing anger every day for no reason. Trisha understood that the real reason was hidden, Rahul.
One afternoon, when Trisha was returning from the library, father suddenly stood in front of the door and said, where were you?
Trisha lowered her head and said, I was studying in the library... Father's eyes turned red like bloodshot eyes. Don't lie. I got the news that you are hanging out with a boy, what's his name... Rahul? Trisha's chest trembled. Father... He is my classmate. We study together. Study? Talking on the phone day after day, walking on the street, is this also study?
Trisha fell silent. She wanted to say something in her throat, but father stopped her. Listen, I want your well-being. If you get carried away by these emotions at the age of studying, your life will be ruined. I don't want you to make a mistake. Tears came to Trisha's eyes.
But Dad, I'm not making a mistake... I really...
Father raised his hand and said,
Shut up! I don't give a damn about these words. From today onwards, you will stop communicating with that boy. If I see him again, it will be very bad.
That night Trisha called Rahul crying.
Rahul, Dad knows everything. He has threatened me that I will not be able to have any relationship with you anymore.
Rahul took a deep breath and said, I knew this would come. Trisha, do you trust me?
Trisha wiped her eyes and said, of course I do. Then listen, we won't give up easily. I will talk to your father directly. I will convince him that my intentions are not bad.
Trisha said in surprise, are you crazy? He will get angry when he sees you. Rahul remained silent and said, maybe. But if I believe my love is right, I have to prove it.
After hanging up the phone, Trisha stared out the window. Not a single star was visible in the foggy night sky. It seemed that darkness was descending on their lives too. But somewhere inside, a small light was shining, Rahul's promise.
