Part- 28: New Conditions

Rahul's victory seemed to spread light all around. Congratulations from the college, news in the local newspaper, and even his name spread on social media. Friends said excitedly, Rahul, you are our hero now!

But Rahul knew that the real fight was still ahead. Getting an award is not the end, he has a bigger challenge ahead of him. Trisha's father felt proud in front of the outsiders when he heard the news. Friends were praising him, look, what a great job your daughter's classmate has done.

He smiled, but remained hard inside.

That night in the living room, he said to his wife, yes, the boy is talented, hardworking, there is no doubt about it. But just winning the competition is not enough. Life needs a permanent foundation. His wife replied softly, you at least admit that he is worthy.

Father remained silent, then slowly said, I will give him another chance. If you really have the courage and ability, then prove it now.

After a few days, Rahul was called. The father said bluntly, you have won the award, I am happy. But it is temporary. If I want to give you my daughter's life, you have to prove that you can stand permanently. You have to pass a government job exam within the next one year. Only then will I speak again.

Hearing this condition, Rahul's chest trembled. Competition for government jobs means thousands of candidates, hard preparation, and endless struggle. Still, he replied in a firm voice, Yes sir, I will try. I will not give up.

Trisha's father looked at him coldly, not trying, but succeeding. Otherwise, forget my daughter. Rahul took a deep breath after leaving the house. Trisha's face flashed in his eyes.

He said to himself, I am not afraid. This fight is not just for your father, but for our love.

At night, he sent a message to Trisha, your father's condition is even tougher. But I will not back down. Trisha's answer came immediately,
I know you can do it. I am by your side.

Rahul opened his diary and wrote, "The real battle begins today. The final outcome of love depends on this one-year struggle."
