Droughts is a nature,s destruction
drought is a period of dry weather which happens due to the lack of rainfall.all the water reservoirs like rivers,lakes ,ponds,wells,etc.would dry up and there will be extreme shortage of water for agriculture and domestic purpose.famine is the major consequence of a drought.
Farmers are the worst-affected people.they won't be able to grow crops ad there is little water
this will lead to shortage of food and it will become a famine.
apart from humans,animals and plants will also be affected becouse of this.as water is an internal part of any living thing.forest fires ocvure mostly during this time.

Drought can be prevented by growing more trees and by growing crops like millets,sorghum,maize which are drought resistant
