RE: DTube Yoga School by Jocke Salokorpi (aka The Ashtanga Monkey) - Ashtanga Yoga + Yin
"Feel your feet" was way more impactful for my ankle stability than I ever would have thought! Thanks for the pointer about turning the foot in about 45 degrees to allow for better hip alignment when I was doing the final standing position.
The annotation for the easier version of the half lotus pose may have helped to use first before attempting that one...I couldn't click on it because I had flopped over on my side still twisted up in myself haha! You did a great job of providing prompts for the beginners like me to ensure that we aren't trying to push our bodies toward any harm by recognizing our limits. I experienced fantastic mind-muscle connection during this practice.
When you alluded to the meditation at the end of the practice while we were still in Yin stretch, I didn't think I was going to participate as I have had a bad tendency to either let my brain keep running during meditation or take the opportunity for shut-eye (accidentally!) But I was very glad that I stuck around for those few minutes you suggested. I have a whole new charge for the day!
That's great to hear.
I will film new practice videos for you guys, so all suggestions are appreciated. Short practices, longer ones, active, more passive, breathing practices, meditation? You let me know and I will do them. :)
I am very intrigued to see something more inline with your YOGAFUNC with music; I too get bored with silence or random windchimes and enjoy puting my breathing to beats and melodies.
