RE: DTubeSnap Plus #10 - How I can give back to the Steem Community
Go for it Red! I do believe there was a similar site, but it didn't take off. I'm trying to remember who it was as I do remember it was a Steemian and a developer that teamed up. Yet, the usernames or website name isn't coming to me. Maybe someone else knows.
Looking forward to yours and @ultravioletmag's channel about everything to do with the blockchain and the special guests you might have on.
Also, thinking of what I can do for the community. Maybe I need a full day of concentrating on what I'm passionate about, what I love about Steem, what Steem needs and how to take the small steps. We shall see what comes through 😉

Thanks so much for the ongoing support :)
And I hope someone knows about the site you're talking about, I'm so curious!!
Definitely do that, don't pressure yourself too much though, and hopefully it'll just come to you naturally! Anyway engaging lots with the community is such a massive value, which you already seem to do so well. Looking forward to see what you come up with though!

That was it - steemit.events (@steemitevents). The site was meant to be a one-for-all portal to see all scheduled contests daily as well as the ability to post/schedule Steemit meet ups. But I don't know, maybe not enough exposure or the UI / UE wasn't friendly enough. You need all the ingredients in the recipe. You might have a great idea, but packaging it in a different way can produce an unwelcomed response.
I've been bouncing ideas back and forth, but need to create the whole package like I was talking about above. We shall see 😊
