I'm glad you understand my point of view. It really saddens my heart when I hear some older people trying to pray the misfortunes away and never put in any work. I even feel more sadness for the children of such people as they are going to grow up believing in that same ideas. I think it's time we changed our curriculum. I don't know how the western world does theirs but for my continent, I think stuffs like financial empowerment should be taught regularly else history will always repeat itself.
