Is this an older edition or a new one? It seems that it has a lot more information than the regular curriculum for 1st grade.
I believe it is from about 10 years ago. This is for the information that the author thinks are the basic needs of a child in 1st grade and a good starting point for building off of. Most schools don't teach all of these items listed.
