My Grumpy Elf looked for a bat that they would eat. It would have been a surprising approach to life, to everybody you know, but not to the Elf, who had come to the conclusion that the idea was stunning. Honestly, a bat was the thing that was opted for.

My Grumpy Elf desperately needed a tomato that they liked to watch for 10 minutes every morning. It would have been a fairly astonishing thing to do, to me and my parents, but not to the Elf, who feels that the idea was magnificent. Who would have imagined, a tomato being the chosen item.

My Grumpy Elf needed a magic 8 ball that they would often try to balance on their head. It might have been a fairly weird and wonderful thing to do, to my children, but not to the Elf, who considered that the idea was magnificent. Bizarrely, a magic 8 ball is the thing to choose.

My Grumpy Elf carried a sponge to insert somewhere. It is an exciting activity, to my grandma, but not to the Elf, who thinks that this idea was exciting. Strangely, a sponge was the item that was chosen.

My Grumpy Elf needed a pen that they sometimes try to balance on their head. It should have been a fairly curious action, to everybody you know, but not to the Elf, who had decided it would be awe-inspring. Who would have thought, a pen is the thing to opt for.
