The present photograph (from my personal file) shows us, in different colors, a water tap (commonly called a thief). It consists of the galvanized iron matrix pipe (dark green color and larger diameter), the respective clamp (blue-gray color), which will keep the pieces together and prevent water leakage and a thermo-melting pipe that will lead the water to its destination .
When is this type of water intake used?

What does it consist of?
The nipple is drilled, in this case vertical, 20 cm. In length and 2 "in diameter, a clamp with 1/2" outlet is placed to connect a green tube of thermofusion. A quick stop valve must be installed in the one-inch distribution pipe, as a precaution for future repairs or extensions of the water distribution network, and that's it!
