Background and Characteristics

The chiripas is the name as it is known to the German cockroach, and is identified by its small size ie it is a very small type of cockroach and with a dark parallel lines that go from the back of the head to the wings.

Typically, chiripas pests are found in kitchen stoves, sinks, and bathrooms. They can also be found in our room on the bed or in the closet.

The chiripas prefer a humid environment with a relatively high degree of heat and are fed a wide variety of foods with preference for starch, sweets, fats and meat products being in many places, garbage their main source of food.

the plague of chiripas is difficult to eliminate in the way that we traditionally use for large cockroaches because there are usually many more and the best way is to get rid of them naturally to stop feeling their unpleasant odor that is superior to that of the large cockroaches that We know more.

The best way to prevent the flukes from entering your house is to cover holes and cracks, some people put at night angelo-type meshes in the grilles and drain of the house so that they do not get there, also taking special care with the rear areas of the furniture of the kitchen (although it seems anti-aesthetic, the best thing is to have kitchen cupboards without "bottom" since between the bottom and the wall they usually get in and there is no one to remove them from there), we also have to be aware of not have humidity in the house.

Also make sure you do not have cardboard boxes piled up as they love them as well as pet food, trash baskets and the space behind the fridge, oven, microwave and sink, nor should you leave containers with unwashed food in the kitchen anymore which is something that calls this plague a lot, just like food thrown on the ground.

Methods to eliminate them

1. BORIC ACID
   Just as the star remedy against the common cockroaches, to do so you should only prepare two tablespoons of boric acid and dilute them in 100 milliliters or 3 ounces of water and soak a piece of bread with this mixture and then put them in the areas where they have observed the flukes and you will quickly see how your number is decreasing; the reason for its effectiveness is that the chiripas are passionate about bread because of its striking smell and when ingesting it the boric acid will kill them.

2. TRAP WITH CUCUMBER
   Inside an aluminum can put or put some cucumber peels and put it in a place where you have seen the chiripas, leaving to work all night, the key to this home remedy against the flukes is that aluminum usually react with the juice of the cucumber, dismissing an unpleasant odor that irritates the flukes making them leave where they are to find a secluded place ... they may go far away.

3. COFFEE
   In small containers with added water and mix coffee powder, then put them in the corners of the house (even under the beds), in the places where you have seen them; the coffee has an odor that attracts them, they go up to the container they fall inside and they drown when trying to leave that container (do not leave the coffee on the ground because it will scare them away).

4. BICARBONATE AND SUGAR
   Mix the bicarbonate and sugar in equal amounts. The chiripas and cockroaches attracted by the sugar, the cockroaches will eat the bicarbonate, which generates a concentration of acids in their stomach causing their death.

5. WATER AND LIQUID SOAP
   Make a mixture of liquid soap and water and pour it into a container with spray, we will create a homemade "insecticide" without the toxic effects that characterize these products. By spraying this mixture on cockroaches, they die instantly.
