Look, Ma', I Can Raise Money FOR An ICO - Sun Exchange Gets $1,6 Millions In Seed Funding From Private Investors
There is life before ICO, my friends. I mean, if you're a blockchain based business and you want to raise funds, you can do it before an ICO. Or, to be more specific, you can raise money to fund an ICO.
Interesting, huh?
Seriously now, Sun Exchange, a blockchain based business which helps people sell solar power, just raised $1,6 millions from private funds like Kalon Ventures Capital, Network Society Ventures and startup accelerators BoostVC, Techstars and Powerhouse. The story was published a few hours ago on Ventureburn but apparently the deal was signed a couple of months ago.
Beyond the business - which really is a nice one, I'm in love with all that spells "alternative energy" - the fact that they raised money from private investors in order to fund an ICO on the Ethereum blockchain kinda blew my mind.
All in all, I look forward to this, it really is a very interesting project.

@dragosroua, I am with you with anything related to clean energy. Can't wait to see how all this new blockchain related projects develop. Especially considering BIG energy companies are some of the most corrupted
and unfair beneficiaries of communities.
add me to that headspace. also anything involving water too.
What is this fund-ception?
Raising funds to create a fund raiser, I can see why this method may gain popularity soon enough.
Just look at the story of Edison and Tesla and you can see how corrupt and shady our energy companies are...
Of course, @solarcoach is supporting sunexchange !
Nice
very cool post and vlog, i like it
Do you know if theyre coming to the US? Thought this was in Australia, but this could be a game changer for the state of Indiana, and its insanely expensive power.
