But yes, when a society can decide that another person's life is hopeless, what hope do we have (as a society?) That's horrible.
It's also why no matter how bad things get, I will never talk to a medical "doctor" about mental issues.
Agreed. If it’s not terminal, there’s hope. Especially with a person so young still.

I believe that firmly - and it's pulled me out of my own dark places more than once.
