My first Experience to Everest Base Camp Trek

Mt. Everest! As mighty as it sounds, so is the excitement to venture on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure and witness the majestic creation by ourselves. Standing in front of the top of the world is everyone's dream, and so was mine. But the journey to Everest Base Camp Trek is not as how one feels it. Walking hours ups and downs in the highlands is not easy at all. That's why it is called the challenging trek.

I was planning this trip back in 2020, but when the Covid (Certification of Vaccination ID) hit, everything changed. It was only in April 2022 when I finally got to do this trek. The entire journey was Epic except for the walking part :-p which was not easy at all for me who lives at sea level on flat land. Everything from food, to accommodation, was very good. Whilst on the trek I encountered several mules, horses, and yaks carrying necessities required for people on the mountain to survive.

The fragrance of the forest, the whisper of the winds, and the songs of birds once again connected me to nature and I realized nature is where we all truly belong. I would like to thank Roshan from Himalayan Ecological Trek for helping with all the information and necessities for this trek in Nepal https://www.himalayanecologicaltrek.com/
