They really do make it as hard as possible to turn off notifications... they are so unbelievably desperate to draw you back to their site at all costs. I've turned off all notifications... and there are some you literally can not turn off in their settings menu. You have to wait until a particular type of post comes up in the notifications... and then click 'don't show me these notifications' - so y'know, it takes a good 8 tries to finally opt out.

No one kids are deleting the app in droves.
