RAHAB — THE UNEXPECTED HEROINE WHO SAVED HER FAMILY

in #faith2 months ago

She was a woman with a past.
Rahab lived in the city of Jericho, known not for her faith, but for her reputation. She was a prostitute, looked down on by her society — invisible to the world.

But when two Israelite spies came to Jericho, Rahab saw something no one else did: she saw the hand of God on Israel. And in a city trembling in fear, she chose faith.

She hid the spies, risking her life to protect them. She made them promise — “Spare my family when your God takes this city.”

And they did.

When the walls of Jericho fell, Rahab’s house remained standing.

She and her family were saved — not because of her past, but because of her courage and faith in the true God.

But her story didn’t end there.

Rahab went on to marry into the Israelite nation. She became the great-great-grandmother of King David, and is listed in the lineage of Jesus Christ.

Life Lesson:
You may have a past that others judge, but God sees your heart.

Faith is not about where you come from — it’s about what you choose to believe right now.

Even if the world calls you unworthy, God can call you chosen.

What parts of your past are you letting define your future?
Like Rahab, your next step of courage might change everything
