POWER IN THE WORDS SPOKEN BY FAITH

21 PETER REMEMBERED WHAT JESUS HAD SAID to the tree on the previous day and exclaimed, “LOOK, RABBI! THE FIG TREE YOU CURSED HAS WITHERED AND DIED!”
22 Then Jesus said to the disciples, “HAVE FAITH IN GOD."
Mark 11:21,22 (NLT)

• Peter was marvelled that the fig cursed by Jesus Christ had withered. And Jesus said in the following verse, Mark 11 verse 22: "HAVE FAITH IN GOD."

• Jesus said further: "
  "I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, YOU CAN SAY TO THIS MOUNTAIN, ‘MAY YOU BE LIFTED UP AND THROWN INTO THE SEA,’ AND IT WILL HAPPEN. BUT YOU MUST REALLY BELIEVE IT WILL HAPPEN AND HAVE NO DOUBT IN YOUR HEART" (Mark 11:23 NLT).
• If you are born-again, you have accepted Jesus As your Lord and Saviour, authority has been given to you: "BEHOLD, I GIVE YOU THE AUTHORITY TO TRAMPLE ON SERPENTS AND SCORPIONS, AND OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE ENEMY, AND NOTHING SHALL BY ANY MEANS HURT YOU" (Luke 10:19 NKJV).
• You can speak to whatever has a name, animate and inanimate objects alike.
• If you believed in your heart, walking in the right relationship and communion with God, your words spoken by faith would stand.
• Everything on the earth has the ear to hear! A land can hear; trees can hear, cars can hear, animals can hear, living and non-living things can hear. All you need is to believe in your heart, and declare with your mouth.

• Note:
a. If you are not born-again; yet to accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, still living in sins, words spoken by you will not stand.
b. Also, If you are born-again, but still live in sin; whether secretly or blatantly, your words which you declare would not be backed up by God.
c. If you are born-again, but living in disobedience to God's instructions: you are not where He wanted you to be, or you are not doing what He wanted you to do, or you are under any disobedience; your words may not be established also.

• For your words to stand when you speak, your relationship and communion with God has to be intact. Your fellowship or communion with Him is important, If you want to get results when you speak.
• If your words started falling, or failing to come to pass, or be fulfilled; it means your fellowship or communion with God is marred!
• Thus, keep your fellowship with God intact. If you had a good fellowship or communion with Him, it would strengthen your Faith. Many who exhibited weak faith are those who have missed it in fellowship. Strong fellowship with God will produce a strong faith.
• And Jesus said If you believe in your heart that what you said will come to pass, you will have what you have said.
  a. The word spoken from a carnal mind cannot stand. All pp
  b. Also, the word spoken whilst living in sin cannot stand.

• What is fellowship or fellowshipping with God? It simply started with daily reading of the Word of God and the practice of it.

• It also means talking or conversing or dialoguing with God as If you could see Him physically. You develop the consciousness of God being with you and you acknowledged it by conversing with Him as you go about your daily activities.
• When your relationship with God gets to this point It means you are in a fellowship with Him, or fellowshipping with Him, or having a communion with Him.
• As you continue and grow in your fellowship with God, an Aura of His presence will grow in your life, and when you speak, your words would be honoured; materialized and be carried out by the angels and demons will obey (1 Samuel 3:19).
• You have authority in Christ Jesus to decree, and whatever you declare will stand. I will like to enjoin you to strengthen your fellowship with God, If you have given your life to Jesus Christ. However, If you are yet to do that, yet to be born-again, take a step now.
• Steps to salvation are stated at the concluding part of this teaching. If you took the steps, then endeavour to grow in your relationship and communion or fellowship with God; by studying the Word, the Bible, and practicing It (James 1:22-25).
• Be a part of the fellowship of Believers, where you can be taught the Word of God and grow in Grace (2 Timothy 3:15,16; Hebrews 10:25).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Whatever is not of God in your body is cursed and completely uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• You will live in health all the days of your life in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
