Celebrating Raksha Bandhan festival at home with family.
I am busy working since morning because many members are going to come to the house today. Many members of the family have gathered together. My husband's sister also came at 9 am and it did not take long for the second sister to come. One of them comes from 160 kms away and the other is coming from 40 kms away. So I have welcomed all of them. The day when there are festivals in the house, the house looks different. I have just started making Rakshabandhan in which Rakhi is being tied to my father and my husband. So everyone participates and I also take a picture. There are very few such festivals in which the whole family gets together and is happy. But nowadays there is no happiness in the family like before, so it would not be right to say anything. There is no wait right now. If due to some reason someone remains incomplete, then we wait for him together, but on such festivals everyone comes on time. I have been to my brother's house for just a week. I have celebrated the first Rakshabandhan because my brother is in a government job, so he does not get leave on this day, so he celebrates it whenever he gets time.
मैं सुबह से ही काम में व्यस्त हूँ क्योंकि आज घर में कई सदस्य आने वाले हैं। परिवार के कई सदस्य इकट्ठे हुए हैं। मेरे पति की बहन भी सुबह 9 बजे आ गई और दूसरी बहन को भी आने में ज़्यादा देर नहीं लगी। उनमें से एक 160 किलोमीटर दूर से आई है और दूसरी 40 किलोमीटर दूर से आ रही है। तो मैंने सबका स्वागत किया है। जिस दिन घर में त्यौहार होते हैं, घर अलग ही नज़र आता है। मैंने अभी रक्षाबंधन बनाना शुरू किया है जिसमें मेरे पापा और मेरे पति को राखी बाँधी जा रही है। तो सब लोग शामिल होते हैं और मैं तस्वीर भी लेती हूँ। ऐसे बहुत कम त्यौहार होते हैं जिनमें पूरा परिवार इकट्ठा होता है और खुश रहता है। लेकिन आजकल परिवार में पहले जैसी खुशी नहीं है, इसलिए कुछ कहना ठीक नहीं होगा। अभी इंतज़ार नहीं होता। अगर किसी वजह से कोई अधूरा रह जाता है, तो हम सब मिलकर उसका इंतज़ार करते हैं, लेकिन ऐसे त्यौहारों पर सब समय पर आ जाते हैं। मैं अपने भाई के घर गई हूँ बस एक हफ़्ते के लिए। मैंने पहला रक्षाबंधन मनाया है क्योंकि मेरा भाई सरकारी नौकरी में है तो उसे इस दिन छुट्टी नहीं मिलती इसलिए जब भी समय मिलता है वह इसे मना लेता है।
