I have read a couple of books on different subjects as an undergraduate and also as a postgraduate student but none has been as intriguing, interesting or even unpredictable as bringing forth a CHILD. I thought it was quick and easy as it is usually portrayed in movies. I have been WRONG all along. It is a New Experience!
When my WOMAN was first with child, it was like a dream but as she advanced in months with the SEED in her, and came the ups and downs in the morning, night and other unpredictable times-I woke to a reality; It is no longer just me or her but another unknown but family member is on the way.
When he arrived, I was there. As he DROVE his way through "that delicate path", I ran out of the busy company of the nurses and midwives. I returned when he was finally "halted" in a wrapper. It was an experience of a life-time.
