RE: A Boy Can Dream Right!
It's crazy the amount of effort people will put into reward farming. I have not dived into the underbelly of it, I'll just downvote when I find them during my way through the various feeds. Sometimes ill comment too and they'll apologize and I'll check and they keep doing it then I'm like sigh theres no hope for you. Flag flag or if im not big enough i'll report them in discord!
Yeah I've noticed reality hubs has been pretty good about their curation and their trending page looks really good. I like the way they're handling it and lots of other tribes should take note.
I never liked steemhunt, well the idea is cool but the submitters and curators made it off-putting. Like I know damn well you didn't try those products you're just posting for rewards so what's the point? It's not authentic. Like, have you tried to get something up on product hunt? it's really stringent and that why their site is worth something to users and brands.
But steem hunt is just oh let me grab something I saw in a buzz feed article, add a blurb and submit.
In my experience on SPortstalk, the ones who comment and apologise are usually lone operators, just trying it on a bit. The big circles don't get into a discussion or retaliate. They know they have more combined RC and power than you and that you will eventually have to stop downvoting them.
Absolutely agree, their problem is there is only an infinite amount of new stuff to bring to our attention and now its just a list of Apps. they have zero credibility and as you say , no one is going to want their nice new product lumped into a feed where the best tech they can muster is an airline app or tin opener.
For someone like me who isn't a content creator, tribes are where it's at. Started powering upRealityhubs and will concentrate on them and Sportstalk as opposed to the scattergun approach I've had previously. On top of that, the Steem snobbery really gets my goat lol ;-)
