The human body is a magnificent machine that, in my opinion, is always in the process of healing and repairing itself to operate at its highest functionality. However, what I’ve found is that adding extended fasting increases the body’s ability to perform tasks that having a full stomach all the time just can’t do.
My name is Michaelson Williams — The MichaelsonEffect — and this is a story about day 28 of a 21-day extended fasting process that literally shocked the sh!t out of me. I know I’ve written other articles during my process, like Rate My Push-Ups 6: One Man Strong (Fasting - Day 16) and Self-Healing in a Sick World, which have some pretty interesting revelations, but this one may take the cake, so to speak. If you choose to read the other articles, you’ll discover why my extended fasting process has gone beyond 21 days.
I woke on the morning of October 12th, 2025, like every other day of my extended fasting process — going to the bathroom to empty my bladder, not needing to take a seat on the throne. You know what they say about men who sit down to pee?...lol. Anyway, after relieving myself of what would amount to around a shot glass of urine, I went back into the bedroom to step on the scale for the day.
I only weigh myself once a day unless I’ve had a small amount of sea salt diluted in a few ounces of water for electrolytes. You can guess why I do this, and I’ve only had water this way twice during the 29 days (so far) of fasting. Once I’ve weighed in, I get fully dressed in something warm because most of the time I’m pretty cold — which I love and hate simultaneously. One, because I’m cold, and two, because I know that my body is shivering to warm itself, which in turn burns calories and facilitates weight loss. If you've ever wrestled competitively you understand just what I mean.
Weight loss update: Started at 205+ lbs, currently 172.6 — which is a 33 pound loss, give or take. This reminded me that I made a mental goal midway through my fasting process: to reach 33 lbs of weight loss and 33 days of fasting, which is a nod to Millix (mlx) crypto. Now I have a stopping point, because it isn’t the fasting that’s the problem (and I hate to even say "problem") — it’s ending the fasting process.
After about seven days, fasting is easy, with the first three days being the hardest. But once past that point, everything — mind, body, and spirit — is in such a highly tuned state that you don’t want to exit that feeling. But I digress... Let’s get back to the story.
Next, I go out into the space where my computer is, wake it up too, and start another process — writing articles. After writing for a couple of hours, I have something to drink — water first — and because I’ve been in full detox mode, a cup of tea. I only started drinking tea a few times per day over the past three days. The benefits of drinking tea throughout the day are amazing; however, I stop drinking any and all liquids at 12 o’clock noon in preparation for the next morning’s weigh-in.
On this morning, almost right after I finished my tea, my stomach started to rumble. I have to say I was more than a little shocked because it wasn’t the normal “I’m moving water around” noise — it was the “I’m processing solid materials in the factory” kind of sound. It even came with some discomfort and a bit of pain. Now, I’m not a wimp, so I didn’t immediately Google “What am I dying of?” or run to the emergency room.
What I did do was get up from my computer, move to a more comfortable chair, and relax my mind. As I sat there, eyes closed, my focus was on trying to visualize what could possibly be in my stomach after 28 days of fasting. All of a sudden, I thought, “I have to go to the bathroom!” Then I thought, “How the hell is this possible after going so long without eating anything?”
I was shocked, but then I just got up, went into the bathroom, took a seat, and let it happen. And yes — I looked. Wouldn’t you? …lol. There was almost no smell, other than a hint of cranberry, which was the tea I had been drinking during this time period. I guess when you don’t eat crap food — and I don’t eat that bad at all — you don’t smell like an outhouse that’s been sitting at a concert or construction site for a month. The tea that morning must have triggered yet another cycle of detox and healing, because once I was done, I felt like I could lift the world.
One thing I’ve noticed about being in an extended fasting process is that things — functions — that normally take days can happen in minutes, even seconds at times. It’s fast! So by the time I flushed, washed my hands, and clicked the light switch, my mind was racing with no less than four new ideas — including two new articles, a phone app idea, and an invention.
The ideas were coming in so fast that I’m sure I missed a few by the time I sat back down at my computer, opened a Word doc to take notes, and started typing. As I typed, I kept thinking, “I can’t believe the human body can hold bowel for such a long time.” Then another thought hit me: “Westerners must be full of harmful toxins with the way we eat.”
I mean, have you seen all these Gen X TikTok NPC types videoing themselves in their cars, stuffing their faces like gluttonous animals for views and likes? It’s disgusting, shameful, and more than a bit weird to see young people behaving in such a manner — all for the pursuit of money. How can people be so money-hungry that their brains bypass the fact that what they’re eating is full of soy, seed oils, and, believe it or not, gender-altering pesticides like Atrazine, which are literally killing them? This is truly Darwinism at work.
FYI — when you Google these harmful pesticides, the search results are dominated by government docs telling you how safe they are, with almost no mention of harmful side effects. Whether you trust or distrust the government — or, more importantly, Big Food and Pharma — this should raise red flags in your mind.
According to the website U.S. Right To Know, the U.S. sprays about 70 million pounds of Atrazine every year on our food — and this is only one of many pesticides the U.S. uses, which, by the way, are banned in other countries around the world.
It’s sad to see that we’ve created a world where people are so heavily socially brainwashed by TikTok trends, social media posts, television commercials, Netflix, etc., that they have almost zero control over their minds. People — but mostly young people of college age — are almost completely checked out of reality, as they’re rapidly moved from one unhealthy idea to the next.
Most young people in the West have been seamlessly moved from Disney to college-level indoctrination, causing them to possess minds that will never be free from systems of control. If you are in this age group or know someone who is, I would suggest extended fasting for you and them. I believe extended fasting, coupled with meditation of any type, is an incredible means of breaking free from these control systems — at least for a while — escaping the Matrix false reality.
Let me close with this:
Since the start of my fasting process, I’ve experienced more than a few moments that made me contemplate, “Why are we here?” and “What is God’s plan for me?” And I’m not a religious person at all — at least not in the manmade, population-control kind of way — but I do recognize there is a power greater than myself. There’s no way, at least in my mind, that I could be this mentally and physically strong after 29 days of drinking only liquids every few days.
Yes, I do attribute some of it to my strong mindset and failure-free attitude, but these experiences are beyond me. Even my daily meditation sessions are connected to energies and life forces greater than myself. I know this because I see them during meditation, and they guide me through the process we call intuition — which I’m beginning to rely on more and more.
Most will not, or may never, understand the ideas I’ve mentioned here and might even scoff at them. But it only takes going on your own journey to see if I’m still full of sh!t.
Very best,
The MichaelsonEffect
