Nice contest @perceptualflaws. Here is one good news story that caught my eye.
It's about the world's first pay what you can grocery store (Feed It Forward), that is filled with food that would have otherwise been thrown into a landfill. The food is being donated by large grocery supply chains, that can't sell these products in their own stores, for varying reasons. I think it's quite obvious why this is a good thing!
That's awesome @palikari123 it's the way to go! Food waste disgusts me, I heard somewhere that we already produce enough food to feed the entire world ten times over .. excellent idea.
Nice idea. I’ve recently heard that most produce at farms that isn’t sellable based on its aesthetic appearance, gets thrown out! (In the US?)
Yes, I'm sure that happens on a mass scale!
Yes that's very true @hrissm .. and yet if they had a miss shaped food section and sold it at half price it would sell out!
