"Wordsmiths Fiction Week 2: Season 24 – The Envelope"
Hello Everyone
This is @max-pro from, #Bangladesh
Assalamu Alaikum friends. Wishing everyone good health. Hope you all are well. By God's grace I am fine too. Today I am here to participate in a wonderful learning competition organized by our teacher @waqarahmadshah. The Topic of this contest is "Wordsmiths Fiction Week 2: Season 24 – The Envelope". So this is a very important competition where we can learn some important things.
>>>Start:-<<< |

Diego's hand stopped. He picked up the envelope slowly as if it were an explosive. The weight of the envelope was light, but the weight inside seemed to hint at an undesirable future. The envelope was also a slightly strange color. He looked around once before returning to the gas station office, closing the door and opening the envelope. Inside was a small piece of paper that simply said,
>>Do you remember the mistake?<< |
---|
There was no name at the bottom. Only the three letters R.H.K. were written. Diego's throat went dry. The name didn't say anything, but the question, "Do you remember the mistake?" seemed to reopen an old wound in his chest. He sat down in the chair.
Suddenly, he remembered a night five years ago. He was still working at a gas station on the other side of town. On a dark, stormy night, a young man came to ask for help. His car had broken down on the highway. He looked like a student. But Diego was tired and annoyed. He simply said through the window that my shift was over, call the police. Because the police station was right next door.
The next day, the newspaper reported the discovery of the body of a missing college student. The image was clear to him now: the same sedan, blue and rusty. The same eyes staring through the glass. So has he come back? Diego's body went cold. The fifth night, 2:30 Minutes. This time Diego was already standing outside and then the car stopped. But this time he didn't just stare.
The car door opened and a man slowly got out. His face was covered but his voice was clear. You could have helped my brother but you didn't. Now it's my turn. Diego's breath stopped. He said in fear. Are you RHK? The man just smiled. Then he handed Diego another envelope and got in the car and drove away. The second envelope. When Diego opened it, he saw an address, a date, and writing at the bottom.
Last chance
So finally the story brings Diego's past mistakes and guilt to the fore through a mysterious experience. Diego sees a strange man arrive at his gas station one night who comes at the same time every day and just stares and leaves. A few nights later Diego receives an envelope with a question written Do you remember your mistake?
He then remembers that he once read about a young man who died the next day because he did not help him. This guilt now returns through a mysterious man who claims to be the dead man's brother. The man gives Diego another envelope with the words Last Chance. This indicates that Diego has a chance to atone for his past mistakes.
So I am Inviting my lovely Steemian friends @suboohi, @ulfatulrahmah, @kouba01, @anasuleidy, @adriancabrera, @edgargonzalez to Participate in this Competition.
