"Wordsmiths Fiction Week 6: Season 24 – The Mystery of Project Z"
Hello, friends, welcome to my post in which I have discussed as part of my participation in this "Wordsmiths Fiction Week 6: Season 24 – The Mystery of Project Z" organized by @ senehasa ma’am. Now I am going to share my view.
2nd part of the fiction:-
Dineth was a brilliant boy and he has more Curiosity about science. He always felt the pulse of science in his blood. Growing up with his grandfather, watching him research various scientific subjects, he could also achieve a lot. Most importantly, he was a keen intellect. His childhood was spent solving time cycles, invisible fields, and complex scientific problems. But the mystery he encountered that stormy day was truly unparalleled.
The box in Dineth's hand was strange. It was cold, smooth, and engraved with a symbol that flickered faintly in the dim light of the lab - his grandfather's note was also small and ominous: "Project Z - not for testing. Not ready."
The warning message only increased Dineth's curiosity. He spent his days in his grandfather's dusty lab reading blueprints, lab notes and unfinished projects, trying to unravel the mystery behind Project Z. But Dineth failed to unravel the mystery of the box.
Then came that dreamy time. It was raining outside. He kept trying with the box.
At one point, he turned the box over without his knowledge. That's when strange things started happening. The room was bathed in a ghostly blue light. The atmosphere of the room changed. A strange buzzing filled the air, louder. Then the box said:
"Permission granted. Transport begins at 10… 9… 8…" Dinath's curious mind could understand that the box had something to do with this incident. He saw-
The walls were playing like waves and his room was bending inward. Before he scream, the world collapsed in light.
He couldn't remember how long he had been closed, but when Dineth opened his eyes, he was no longer in his room.
He stood on a floating platform, surrounded by broken pieces of land, vast stars hanging in the void. Some parts looked like ancient cities; others glowed with futuristic technology. The force of gravity shifted with each step. Crystal-skinned creatures floated silently in the air, and mechanical birds soared.
A glowing statue hung before him. Human but faceless, this form made entirely of changing light seemed strange to Dineth.
A voice came from the strange statue—"You have activated Project Z," “You are now in the Broken Realm—you stand at the intersection of the broken timeline and the forgotten world. Your grandfather was one of the first to enter it. But he failed to hold onto its power."
Dineth's heart sank. "For what purpose was it created?"
" To explore the information of three dimension in time. But it was incomplete. Your grandfather sealed it to protect your world."
"Then why did you let me in?"
"Because you carry his legacy perhaps, his redemption."
From that moment on, Dineth realized the truth: Project Z was not a teleporter or a time machine. It was a dimensional bridge, a device that connected lands divided by time, choice, and chaos. And it needed a guardian.
But one thing was certain—Dyneth had uncovered something far beyond his world.
The mystery of Project Z became clear to Dineth. He understood that Project Z was a dimensional bridge connecting alternate realities created by broken timelines and time disruptions.
Dineth looked at the strange statue and asked - what should he do now? The statue replied - I will send you to your world. You have to learn more about Project Z from your grandfather, do more extensive research on this. To protect the earth and to keep our connection with this strange world, we will continue all our efforts.
You will be helped in every way from our side. And whenever there is a need to communicate with us, you will communicate with this device. -Saying this, he gave another strange triangular metal coin. With that, his eyes closed.
Now he opened his eyes and found himself in the middle of the room. He did not want to believe it. Did he really come from another world? He put his hand in his pocket. He found the metal coin from another world in his pocket.
A glimmer of happiness appeared in his eyes. He understood that after his grandfather, he was going to be the only person to communicate with the three-dimensional world. His age seemed to increase many times in an instant. He walked confidently towards his grandfather's lab.
Message: -
Our solar system is surrounded by mystery. Our well-known scientists are constantly trying to solve the mystery. They are considering the suitability of living on other planets. Much research has had some success, but complete success has not yet appeared. Their research still continues. Maybe the day is not far away, we will get a project like Project Z. All the mysteries of the three-dimensional world or the four-dimensional world, surrounded by mystery, will be solved. We will see many new worlds around us We may be able to enter that new world with Project Z and like research. I salute all those tireless researchers and wait for the prospective new world.
I invite three of my friends to join in this contest-
