Hello my dear Steemians,

 

• New job…

 

It is a great feeling when you finally finish your University and ready to make a step into real life, full of new achievements, new successful events and of course, new friends.

I have applied to many different vacancies, after graduation, I have a degree in biology and wanted to give my input in research. Once when I came home I found a strange envelop that was passed under my door. When I opened it it was addressed to me directly and was offered a post of a post in research group that was working on developing the natural tissue repair of mice in order to understand in that is something that could be implemented in human biology.

While reading that I just jumped from happiness that is something that I really wanted to do, I immediately made me on the way to the office to present myself to them.

 

• Team...

 

When I arrived to the office I was met by the director of the project, he was young and very friendly, actually we found many things in common and he welcomed me into the team but also he introduced me to the rest of the team.

Tina, she was only girl on the team, she was quite but looked very open and kind. I had a feeling that she often had been in her thoughts and far away in her mind but once you approach her, she was back and happily looking, friendly and supportive. I was not sure what to think about that but at that moment it was not important.

Alex, was one of the smartest person, he had photographic memory that made him very special and also for the team that was very helpful, because we often asked him instead of checking that in computer.

Max, was another colleague who was very good in biology and human anatomy, he always compared the anatomy of both human and animals. We had a lot of fun.

 

• Project...

 

We had modern laboratory and we had everything that we needed. The work was going well and we made some progressed and found the enzyme that helped to active the stem cells of our own body and the mice who had failure of their organs on daily basis, after 30 days the organ completely recovered and mice became not only healthy but much younger. The youth was a side effect of stimulation of stem cells that helped to reverse the process of getting older.

For us that was a great achievement and for our boss too. He granted us with bonus at the end of the project. We were happy to see the result of our work and thought that this is a great step forward that will help to treat many people but we did not know that it was not the real goal of the project.

 

• Project...

 

One day when I was preparing to go back to office I caught myself on the article in newspaper and it was about a body that was found without internal organs I had cold sweat on my back, but I was not sure why I had it and what it was.

I went to my office, everything was normal only Tina was this time even more quite and pale, she was not able to concentrate on her tasks. When she went to make coffee for her, I decided to approach her and have a chat. I asked her if there is anything that made her so concerned. After hesitation she told me that she found something that our project does. Once she by accident went into other wing of the building and found herself in area that was restricted for the staff. The door this time was open and Tina went in, she found a big room with many incubators but not like for babies they were big and there were adult bodies. Tina saw computers next to each incubator and they recorded the condition of certain organs. While going through the records she found that the bodies were there for growing the organs for future transplantation. Since then she was shocked and was not feeling well.

We decided to share that with others, once Max and Alex found that we decided to reveal that experiments to others, to make it open. Of course, we knew that we put ourselves in danger but we could not tolerate that. We have saved all the details from the database and one day we have forwarded that to all the news channels. That time over night the project appeared in breaking news, including videos, photos and details of the project.

When the police came to search the office everything was empty the building was clear, people were gone. Luckily we had evidence of the experiment but unfortunately, the people behind were able to escape and who knows they might be in any other country started from the beginning the experiment.
