The Boss's Challenge

When the meeting ended, John was very nervous. But Timothy was normal. Because he was also a part of the project he had already done, it did not seem like a big task to him. However, he had the idea of completing this successfully in just 6 weeks. But he talked to John while thinking about how to design the app according to the requirements stated by BOSS.

Timothy: John, what do you think about what BOSS said, can we do it ourselves?

John: We can finish it but we still need two very promising juniors

Timothy: So we only have six weeks, can we finish it within that time?

John: If we try, we can do everything. We won't be able to sleep for six weeks.

Timothy: Okay, who should we add? Ravi or Stella, who has just arrived?

John: I think Stella is good for us, she has already made two successful Applications in another company and has come to this company. She may have new ideas that we may need.

Timothy: Okay, let's do it, we need one more engineer.

John: If that's what you want, we can add Ravi.

After lunch, they mentioned Stella and Ravi 's names on the list of engineers they needed and gave them to the BOSS. He gave Stella and Ravi the order to work on the project and sent them a PDF file explaining the details of the client and what they were needed.

John: if that's the case, we need to create a code for additional discounts and points for joining as a member.

John: I think we have included everything that the boss has added. Please review it once.

Timothy: No, we have not included everything that the boss said. The real offer has not been given yet.

John: So what can we do?

Timothy: Why shouldn't we give incentives? That is, when a passenger with our number or a new passenger recommends another passenger, we can give him a discount on the travel fare.

Week 6's Last day

They were working hard to finish the project that was due to arrive on this day. At that time, the boss called both John and Timothy to check the status. He asked them with suspicion, "You have two more days to finish it. Will you finish it by then?" They both nodded.

Timothy: We are almost done. We have added many offers like membership and peak time business off time reduction in our application so users will appreciate it a lot.

Boss: Very good. Everything must be correct. At the same time, we must give it to client by this evening. Please complete it.

Their app was on the verge of being a success. Finally, they needed to integrate payment gateway. Their payment gateway had to work with their offer, discount, membership, etc. Everyone was struggling for that.

John: I need to send the final amount to the payment gateway but the calculation is missing and it is showing an error. What should I do?

Timothy: Yes, every time it checks the offer, membership and discount, it will calculate the final payment total. There is some error in this. It needs to be fixed. Why can't we just add the tax calculation formula that used in Excel?

John: Good idea, give me the formula.

After receiving that formula, they added it to the coding and completed the project with success. Since that was the last day, they logged in to the app as an end user and verified it. They were satisfied with it and thought to go to the boss's room to submit their task.

Place : Boss Room

The four of them went to the boss's room with their project. Timothy knocked on the door and asked, "May we come sir?" Timothy said, "Yes, I am come in." he welcome them but ignored them and he was flipping through a book.

John opened his laptop and started to open the application. Then the boss interrupted him and said, "We have already submitted the project. I told you that you have to submit it by this evening. Evening starts at 4 o'clock not now. You are very late. Always need a punctual."

The four of them were shocked and looked at each other's faces.

Then the boss said, "I always give a task to two teams because to avoid this kind of delay, it's normal for delays like this to happen." Don't worry, you won't just get an incentive for this, your hard work will help you with your next project.

The four of them came out disappointed, and became sad.

The next day....

The boss had called everyone for a meeting again and had also said that it was an urgent meeting, so they were in the meeting room before starting work in the morning. After a while, the boss came there excitedly.

Boss: "Our project has been rejected. When viewed from the end user side, the calculation is missing and the payment gateway is showing an error, so the client hates it. However, they have given one day's time.... that is today.

As per their arrangement, they have to launch the app tomorrow morning and preparations are going on for that. If we don't do this, it will be a big shame for us and them.

"Mr. Donald, you only created the application yourself. What was the error? You should have checked it twice, right?

Donald: Sir, due to lack of time, I could not check from the end user side. I have given the application to be completed. I am sorry.

Boss: Okay, can you fix it now?

Donald thought for a while and then bowed his head, everyone looked at Donald in surprise.

Boss: Why are you thinking? What happened? You can't do it? Did you do it yourself?

Donald: Sorry, sir, I did not do this... I have deceived you all. This is a project of A-Team. I copied it through Stella. Please forgive me.

Boss:Stella, is what he says true? Why did you do this?

I thought Donald should be respected. I thought he should get a promotion because he was my lover. Everything went according to our plan, but in the end, our bad luck paid off.
