Two-timing

Hello Teaching Team

Hello My Steemain Friends ,

Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S26- W6: which is all time my favourite topic Two-timing this amazing challenge organised by @dove11 .

John and Tina became close friends in just three hours of conversation. John couldn't help but feel drawn to her. Her smile and Tina's phone number reminded him of her.

When John arrived home, his wife, Rosie, tried to talk to him, but he was preoccupied with Tina, so he replied reluctantly, "I'm tired, I'm going to bed." Rosie thought, "Yes, maybe he was." But when Rosie noticed he wasn't sleeping, constantly looking at his phone, dialing, and then hanging up, she suspected something was amiss.

John couldn't resist meeting Tina; his life had been thrown into chaos. But he also kept thinking of his wife. He wondered if he was doing something wrong, but his attraction won out over this conflict, and he set a time and place to meet Tina and arrived.

With a card and a red rose, as soon as Tina arrived, he expressed his love, kneeling down and handing her the card and a bouquet of flowers. Tina, a 20-year-old girl, was overjoyed by this and happily accepted his card and bouquet.

Two or three days passed like this, and John and Tina began seeing each other every day. Their fun, eating, and talking for hours continued as usual. John was constantly lying to his wife, arriving home late with one excuse or another. Tina asked what will you tell your wife about our relationship, then John got silent for a moment, then Tina said that she is loyal to you but you turned out to be not loyal to her husband, then John started looking at Tina but he was so much in love with Tina that he was not able to differentiate between good and bad.

One day Tina called John and asked him to meet her in a hotel and said that one of my friends wants to meet you, so John reached there very ready for the date.

Tina's friend was present there with her, who had hidden her face. As soon as John reached, Tina introduced him to her friend, as soon as John saw her friend, he felt something familiar there. He said hello and sat quietly. The conversation began. Tina said to her friend, "Dear, John loves me very much and is ready to leave his wife. We are going to get married very soon." John was smiling widely, but at this, Tina's friend removed the mask from her face. John felt the ground slipping beneath his feet, because it was none other than his wife, Rosy.

John was so terrified, as if he had been caught stealing. There were tears in Rosie's eyes, because today John had rewarded her for her loyalty, albeit deceitfully. John only asked one thing: "Why did you do this to me when you knew Rosy was my wife?" Tina said, "Rosy had blind faith in you and she used to invoke you in everything, saying, 'My John could never betray me.'"

She never tired of praising you, but I would tell her that maybe your husband was like other men, melting at the slightest smile from a girl. Rosy would always silence me by saying, "No, my John isn't like that."

So that's why we made a bet: if I could make John fall in love with me and bring him to the point of marriage within eight days, I would win the bet. If I couldn't, I would happily accept defeat. Who would be happier than me that my friend had a truly loving husband?

But alas, unfortunately, I won the bet. Now, John was deeply embarrassed and apologized to his wife, but Rosy remained calm. Then Tina said, "I know what's going on in your mind, John, that your family life is being ruined because of a bet. But that won't happen at all.

It was just a bet, and we had already decided that whatever happens, nothing will affect our family life." Since we were both involved in this truth, you're not the only one guilty; we're both guilty. So let's end this matter here and move on with our lives. With that, all three smiled, and John and Rosy headed home.

Feedback

  • A solid moral story but it lacks the basic demand of the prompt "Two Timing," It was either a fulfilled temptation by either of the partners or a solid resistance.

  • Your story was kind of test of fidelity. You started with introduction which is against the rules.
