The problem we normally face In our society is the inheritance of the right owner of a property after the demise of parents, which will help to expose the rightful owner.
Based on the story shared by the professor, which I have taken my time to read, understand, research, and comprehend, I will begin by saying that Julie sat back in the mahogany chair, and her fingers trembled slightly as she rested on the folder. Her mind keeps flashing in the red circle. "My three children are the beneficiary of the estate, and everything will be divided (shared) for them."
Mr. Alden, who is the lawyer, heard her, and he immediately positioned his glasses well. He repeated by saying, "Jeremy Cates". That is all we have for now and nothing more. There is an A.P.O. box in Montana with no means of identification or contact information. The insistent of your father on society was too much.
Julie swallowed and said to him "What if we can not find him, what are we going to do?"*
He then replied to Julie by saying to her , "If so, then none of you will inherit anything if we can't find him, because the estate will remain sealed until we find him".
Daniel, her brother who hardly talked, came late to where they were and stood by the doorway listening to them and finally talked. "Good news, we find him".
Julie found herself walking out of a Greyhound bus into the cold, sparse gown of Montana, after one week. The P.O. box her father listed was real, but the problem was that it was empty, looking unused for more than 3 months. The postmaster had been tight-lipped, but there was someone called Jeremy Cates who had once lived in the area.
He was recognized by a local waitress. He worked as an engineer in a construction company here some years ago. The next morning, Daniel and Julie drove out to the place.
"Jeremy, if this gets to you and you are reading it, it means I have gone. I wanted to do right by you, even if I never had the to say it to you face to face"*
Julie couldn't hold her tears; she just blinked it away. "He knew Jeremy was out here, and he never informed us."
Daniel looked at the note from the bottom and pointed out a phone number. That same night, Julie called the number from the room she was in. After two rings the line clicked.
"Hello?"
"Hi...I my speaking with Jeremy Cates?"
A pause. *"Who is asking of her?"
***"I am your elder sister said Julie. Our father left something for us.
At first, she was silent after hearing, and he left a name for you.
Then she replied and said, "Please, I don't want anything from him. Allow me to be."
Gently, Julie said, "He didn't leave us with a choice."*, if we didn't come together and do this, none of us would get anything from our father's property. Maybe that is the point. Maybe this is the only way he could get us to meet as a family. After a long pause. Jeremy then said, "Where are you now?".
This story continued which in the continuation of the story the siblings reunited together for the burial of their father before the estate was distributed to them. To be continued
Sometimes, even after the passing of a loved one, secrets emerge that can unite more than you can imagine. I can't wait to see how this family reunion unfolds and what other surprises the story has in store!
That should come as a continuation if the professor keeps the story going. Although Julie, Daniel, and Jeremy Cates became so close together as a lovely family after the burial. Thanks for your support.
