"Wordsmiths Fiction Week 6: Season 24 – The Mystery of Project Z"

Dear friends, I hope everyone is well. I am also doing well, Alhamdulillah, by the endless mercy of Allah. I have returned again in the last week of this season to participate in a contest. As always, I will share what I have learned from this story and what happened by the end of it. I will start from where this contest was ended.
Start
Dineth is very interested in science, and he starts doing various kinds of research in the laboratory left by his grandfather. One day, while cleaning up his grandfather's lab, he suddenly sees a small old box. Inside that box, there is a switch and a note; the note states that Project Z is neither to be tested nor prepared for. However, Dineth becomes very curious and later wants to learn more deeply about Project Z.
Dineth was only able to find out that Project Z is a teleportation device. He is not sure whether this teleportation device is functional or not, so to confirm, he went to his room, closed the door, and began to test the device, but he couldn't find out much about it. One rainy evening, he flipped the switch, but nothing happened. Dineth became extremely frustrated and thought that maybe it was broken and would not work.
However, surprisingly the box started to glow and hum softly, the room filled with blue light, the walls began to shake, and a deep sound emerged from the box as the countdown began. Dineth then realized for sure that it was a teleportation machine, and suddenly he was pulled into a portal that felt to him like a black hole, starting to draw him through the wall. After a little while, Dineth found himself at a lavish event
Everything started to feel very chaotic to him, dineth realized that he had arrived in an unfamiliar city. Amazingly, he saw that this event was a wedding ceremony, and he began to look around. Suddenly, his eyes caught a wedding banner, and he was extremely surprised because his parents were getting married at this event, and his grandfather was also present. The time was 1978, which meant dineth had traveled back in time, but he could not understand exactly why; was it his grandfather's wish?
Will he go and ask his grandfather directly about this, or will he secretly start an investigation on him? Suddenly, someone put a hand on his shoulder, and turning around, Dineth saw that it was none other than his grandfather. He began to shout for the security guard and started asking how this stranger came to the family event. Dineth then started to explain, but he couldn't say that he came from the future; otherwise, nobody would believe him. So, he began telling his grandfather that he had come here for event management, although his grandfather still couldn't believe his words.
But suddenly his grandfather's friend Mr. James came and said, 'Dineth, have you come here for management? It's good to see you.' Hearing Mr. James's words, both Dineth and his grandfather were extremely surprised. Dineth realized that he was not the only one who had teleported here, but his grandfather's friend Mr. James had also come. But for what reason? Dineth started to suspect that perhaps his grandfather's death was not an accident, but rather a planned murder, which began to create intense doubt in Dineth's mind.
Dineth has decided to start an investigation into his grandfather and his grandfather's friend, Mr. James. Dineth began the investigation and found that his grandfather and Mr. James had begun planning to create a time travel machine in partnership. They have achieved 96% success in this and have named this research Project Z. It is capable of changing the past and simultaneously stopping someone's birth and death, but this was the biggest mistake of the research. The limitation of Project Z is fundamentally this: here they have made a mistake because nature can never be stopped, and birth and death cannot be prevented.
However, dineth's grandfather and Mr. James were so engrossed that they wanted to do something outside of reality. Dineth understands that the time of teleportation progresses faster than real-time because dineth has already been born in the teleportation world and now has very little time in hand to stop his grandfather from making this teleportation machine. Remarkably, dineth realized that, just as Mr. James exists in this world, he is also here as a double for coming through teleportation.
So, dineth decided to teleport and meet Mr. James because only Mr. James can keep his grandfather away from making this teleport machine. But Mr. James informs dineth about an important issue; Mr. James reveals that he cannot stop his grandfather because this cycle will continue and nothing can be changed. Whoever gets trapped here in this real world will not be able to escape this cycle, Mr. James has been stuck here for many years.
And here, not only is he stuck alone, but his grandfather is also trapped; they have died repeatedly in this world but have never been able to return to the real world. They do not even know if this is truly teleportation or some kind of journey. Upon hearing this, Dineth became extremely worried. He conducted his own research and realized that his grandfather was so desperate about time travel that he had used a potent lysergic acid diethylamide chemical in that time travel device, which resulted in them being severely stuck in a journey. This is very frightening.
Here, Dineth has understood that everything happening to him is a hallucination, so he began trying to explain to his brain as best as possible, and after a long 12 hours, Dineth regained consciousness. Here, Dineth realized that his grandfather's death was not an accident, but rather a result of hallucinating from taking excessive LSD drugs, leading him to jump off the roof. And for this, his grandfather's friend Mr. James is also responsible, as they knew that it was illegal to use this drug, yet they created an unrealistic project solely for research purposes, and it is deadly. It has also caused the death of many.

Pasa doce agotadoras horas luchando por liberarse de la alucinación, intentando racionalizar sus pensamientos y recuperar el control de su mente. Cuando despierta, vuelve a su propia realidad y la horrible experiencia se convierte en un recuerdo de pesadilla. Le espera la sombría tarea de comprender y aceptar esta trágica realidad.
Un potente alucinógeno induce en Dineth una experiencia de teletransporte con la cual tiene que luchar y luego lidiar al pasar el efecto con el recuerdo de una pesadilla. La causa de la muerte de su abuelo por experimentar el alucinógeno y el Proyecto Z, le da un giro interesante a la historia y un momento de reflexión al enfrentar esa dura y trágica realidad así como los peligros que representa.
