Hello My Steemain Friends ,

Today I am writing about an interesting Steemit Engagement Challenge S26- W5: which is all time my favourite topic Second chance romance this amazing challenge organised by @dove11 .

Dennis and Jenny's paths had parted. Dennis was a successful corporate manager, but still he was lonely and tired in this crowded world. Love was missing in his life.

After separation from his girlfriend Jenny, no other girl came into his life. He was unable to forget his girlfriend but his ego was not ready to do this. He never tried to meet Jenny again or apologize because his ego would have been hurt.

Time was passing like this, one day a meeting was launched in his office. Managers of two-three companies came with their presentations, Jenny was also in the team of one of them, both of them felt a little uncomfortable seeing each other. Although both of them were professionals, so they controlled themselves to a great extent. But still they used to look at each other secretly with sideways glances.

The meeting ended, both of them just looked at each other, but did not say anything. There was a yearning inside both of them to know whether they should move forward in their lives or not. Now this process of meeting used to happen two or three times a week. They had to face each other, one day they were alone after the meeting was over.

So Dennis asked Jenny what is going on in your life. And there is no importance in life. On hearing this, Jenny started crying and she kept looking at Dennis and Dennis was also looking at her. Jenny did not answer and said, leave me, tell me about yourself. Did someone else come in your life? Dennis said softly, no, I did not find anyone like you.

Hearing this, Jenny smiled and turned her face, there were still tears in her eyes. Then Jenny said why did you want someone like me. You had a lot of problems with me, you wanted someone perfect, Mr. Perfect was looking for Mrs. Perfect. This means the search is still on. Let's keep looking for "Best of luck".

Dennis was being pierced by Jenny's words like an arrow, he lost his patience and said, "I am not looking for anything. My search had ended with you long ago. Now I don't need anyone". Jenny softened a bit on hearing his words, she looked at Dennis in surprise. Dennis again repeated the question to Jenny, "Is there anyone in your life?" Jenny said, "Now I don't feel the need of anyone, the one whom I made mine, I loved. When he left me, now I don't even trust anyone, let alone love them".

An unspoken restless sadness engulfed me, Jenny's house had arrived. Jenny moved ahead from the car without saying anything. Dennis kept looking at her like that, tears started flowing from his eyes. Jenny looked back once and then moved ahead. But this change in her nature made Dennis restless and he regretted that his one mistake, his idealistic nature of perfection which he showed to the world, had ruined a good relationship.

He wanted to apologize for his mistakes, but today his ego was completely shattered, he had understood that he cannot live without Jeni. Dennis followed Jeni and knocked on the door of her house. Jeni opened the door and saw Dennis and said, yes, tell me what is the matter. Saying this, she gestured him to come inside.

Dennis and Jeni were in front of each other, Dennis' tears started flowing, he sat down on his knees and started asking for forgiveness and seeing his behavior, Jeni could not remain silent for long. The eyes of both were raining, expressing their pain. Dennis said, can you give me a chance, "Second chance romance" I will never give you a chance to complain.

If you don't give me a second chance, I will die, I cannot live without you. Jenny accepted his proposal and said crying, I am also incomplete without you.

Thus, true lovers met and without delay they got married, gave a name to the relationship and very wisely promised to spend their lives happily keeping in mind each other's honor and respect.
